is skincare a hoax?

Why Does Everyone Think Skincare Is A Hoax?

Skin care. I don’t know how long it’s been around, but I’ve seen people using it as early as 7th grade. And that makes sense, because it’s a super easy and totally laziness-approved solution to pesky pimples and dry skin. After all, if taking care of your skin means you can hide your under-eye bags with concealer, or dabbing sweat off your face means you can take the day off from washing your hair, then we’re all for that! But after a while, I started to get a bad case of the skepticals – why is skin care so difficult to talk about? Why does everyone think skincare is a hoax? Let’s dig in.

The skincare market is so saturated and there are so many products.

It’s hard to know what will work for your skin.

That’s why I’m going to share with you my favourite skincare products that I’ve been using over the past few months.

I’ve gone through a lot of different products and have finally found ones that I love and that work well for me.

These are all the products I use on a daily basis:

-AHA/BHA exfoliant -This helps resurface my skin, which helps with texture and acne scarring. It also makes your products more effective because it opens up your pores so they can absorb more of what you’re putting on them. This exfoliant also contains salicylic acid which helps with acne by killing bacteria in your pores!

-Retinol cream -Retinol cream is amazing for anti-aging and evening out discolouration on your face. It also helps with wrinkles, which is why I love it so much!

All the products on the market contradict each other.

When you ask a dermatologist, they say “You should use this,” and when you ask a cosmetician, they say “You should use that.” The truth is that you have to find out what works for you.

I don’t like to use the word “miracle” because it’s not real. But my skin was completely different after one week of using this product! And I’ve used it for two months now and my skin has never looked better!

I’m 45 years old and my skin looks like it did when I was 25 years old. My mother told me that when I was young, people would always tell her how beautiful my skin was. Now she tells me how beautiful my skin is again!

There are just too many options, it’s hard to get started.

That’s what I hear from people who haven’t yet taken their first steps into the world of investing, or those who have a few things going on and don’t know where to start.

I get it. There are so many choices! But the good news is that there are also some easy ways to get started investing in no time at all — and for free!

Here are five ways you can get started with investing today:

If you haven’t already, set up an account at your bank or credit union. This is one of the easiest ways to get started with investing because it doesn’t require any additional paperwork or fees — just give them a call and they can walk you through opening an account and setting up direct deposit.

If you already have a retirement plan at work but want more control over how your money is invested, consider opening an individual retirement account (IRA). IRA accounts offer low investment minimums and come with tax advantages if used properly. The only downside is that IRAs typically require higher minimum balances than Roth IRAs do.

It seems like new products are constantly coming out—does anything really work?

I have a very simple answer for you: Yes!

I’ve been using the same skin care products for years and I really believe in them. I don’t care if they’re the latest thing or not, if they do what they’re supposed to do I’m happy.

There are some great new skincare products out there that work really well, but most of them are just variations on older formulas. You may have heard about retinoids, vitamin C serums and hyaluronic acid (HA) gels—but these ingredients have been around forever.

The main difference between old-school skincare products and their new counterparts is how they’re packaged and marketed. Many of the newer products come in smaller bottles with more convenient applicators like pumps or droppers instead of jars or tubes. They also tend to feature more natural ingredients like botanicals and essential oils rather than synthetic chemicals.

Some products have been around for a long time and I don’t see any results, why should I try something new?

I hear this question all the time: “what’s the point of switching to a new product when my old one doesn’t work?”

The truth is, some products have been around for a long time and I don’t see any results, why should I try something new?

It’s true that some products may not be working as well as they once did. There are many reasons why this might be happening. It could be that the formula has changed or maybe you are allergic to an ingredient. Or maybe you just haven’t been using it properly.

Here are some tips that will help your current product work better:

Check if your skin is sensitive or allergic to any ingredients in the formula. If so, go through our list of ingredients and remove any that you are sensitive too by switching to another brand.

If your skin is not sensitive but you still have no results then try using more of the product, especially if it’s a cream or lotion type product like moisturizer or serum. These types of products need more time on the skin before they can deliver their benefits so try using them twice daily instead of once daily for a week or two and see how it goes from there.

Skincare and beauty can be luxurious, but it doesn’t have to be complicated or hoax-y.

I’ve been a beauty editor for over 10 years and have seen a lot of trends come and go. But the one thing that never goes out of style? Skincare.

I once had a colleague tell me that no matter how old you are or what your skin type may be, everyone needs to be using sunscreen every single day. And I believe it.

Skincare is all about finding what works best for your skin, which is why we’re here today: to help you navigate the skincare aisle and find the products that are best for you.
